Buntin'

Last summer (August 2015), I randomly made this bunting. I think it is a bit of a one-off because I don't think I could be bothered to do it again. Maybe if I found some pretty material with a different colour scheme (so much red?) then maybe I would be game, but I am not game. I am full time: done.

I probably should have ironed the triangles.

Edgy angle there.

I didn't have a tutorial for this, either. I just kind of did it. I'm hashtag revolutionary, I guess. If I managed to do it, anyone interested in this kind of thing would be able to too. I'm not very good at writing instructions, but maybe if I do do another one, I'll record it or something.

I sewed these by hand, so maybe next time I could use the sewing machine and it would be a bit quicker.

I don't know how to turn this around, so just tilt your head, please.

This angle makes it look like the bunting is about to drop a mad mixtape.

This triangle looks a bit deflated. Should I have stuffed them? Put cardboard in them?
*shouts into the void*

Material: An unknown market stall in Enfield Town Market that has since disappeared. Would this be considered hashtag vintage now?

Ribbon: Flying Tiger Copenhagen. It isn't on their website, because their website is a pile of horse-shit (but like, useless horse-shit, you can't use this shit on roses...) so just go into one of their stores.

Bye x
